Everything you need to enter South Tyrol or to return to your home country is:
Persons from EU countries, Schengen states and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (list C countries) have already been permitted to enter South Tyrol
without having to quarantine since 16 May 2021.
Arriving guests are required to:
- present the
EU Digital COVID Certificate (EU CoronaPassport) or a printed confirmation showing whether one has
recovered, been vaccinated or tested.
- Before entering Italy,
register online via the European Digital Passenger Locator Form (dPLF). In the event of a check, a confirmation email on a smartphone is
sufficient proof. In exceptional cases, i.e. exclusively in the event of technical obstacles, it is possible to complete the
self-declaration in writing.
When
returning from South Tyrol to their respective home country, guests must observe the entry requirements applicable in their respective home country as applicable to a return trip from Italy.
The european Super Green Pass is needed:
- when
consuming food and beverages in closed spaces of bars and restaurants
- for access to
cinemas, theatres, stadiums and sports facilities
- for access to
events The european Green Pass is needed:
- for
overnight stays in any type of accommodation, for consuming food and/or drink in bars and restaurants that are located within an accommodation facility and available exclusively to guests of that facility
- accessing
South Tyrol's Christmas markets - when using
lifts or cable cars for skiing - for travel on coaches. for travel on Intercity, Intercity Night and high-speed trains, for travelling on the regional railway system and any form of
local public transport - for access to indoor
swimming pools, fitness rooms, changing rooms and showers, team sports, wellness facilities in closed rooms, including those of accommodation establishments
- for admission to
museums, cultural sites and exhibitions
- for admission to
trade fairs, conferences and congresses - for access to
cultural centres, social centres (in closed rooms)
- for access to your
workplace Safety measures
In enclosed spaces, everyone aged six years or older must
wear a surgical mask at all times. There is also a mandate to wear a face covering outdoors if you cannot maintain a safe distance of 1 metre to others at all times (e.g., during events, in town centres, on squares, at markets, in queues etc).
FFP2 masks must be worn on
public transport. Brixen Tourism supports the vaccination campaign of the Province of South Tyrol
